Kate Budzynski

Kate Budzynski is passionate about people and eager to assist you with your pending legal matters.

In 2015 Kate graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Journalism. She is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of South Australia, the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory and the High Court of Australia.

Kate has been practicing criminal law within various jurisdictions within South Australia from the Magistrates Court through to the Supreme Court.

Kate has a keen interest in human rights and criminal law. Her interest in this area was sparked in 2013 when she travelled to Ghana and volunteered at the Office of Legal Aid Scheme and at the Projects Abroad Human Rights Office.

Since returning to Australia, Kate has devoted a considerable amount of her time to pursing her passions and assisting others, including volunteering at the UniSA Legal Advice Clinic and undertaking a placement at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Kate is an exceptional member of the Carter and Co Lawyers team. In 2019 and 2020, Kate was recognised in the Doyle’s Guide as one of South Australia’s rising stars in the area of criminal law. She looks forward to working with you, in what can be particularly difficult times.
